So very bittersweet
Fawkes officially has a new home. He has been out on trial for the past month and they have decided to purchase him. I am happy and sad.
I really dislike conflicting emotions. I will miss him very much.
I just went through this with my Julie, and you're right, it's an absolute blend of happy and sad. There were quite a few tears shed when I said goodbye to her, but now I am just happy because the girl who owns her is totally in love. Makes me feel really good! Hang in there, it will get better.
Wow! I'm sad and happy for you all at the same time! Happy he has a good home, sad you are horse-less. Are you going to keep taking lessons, or take an equine break?
