Squeaking away

My brace started squeaking a little bit yesterday. Just here and there a few times I noticed a little noise. Then today after a very long day consisting of an early morning flight, followed by a tedious drive through NYC traffic to a meeting that consisted of me sitting for a couple hours and then back into the car to crawl over the George Washington Bridge and finally to my hotel. Whew!

I checked in and changed into my workout clothes. Stretched a bit and felt like every joint was squeaking. But no, as I walked down the hallway every step had a faint squeak.

Into the hotel gym, not in an area to take a walk outside, and only thing available was an elliptical machine. I hadn't used one of these in forever but I figured they are supposed to be easy on joints. I ended up doing 35 mins! Yay!!! But every step I took was accompanied by a squeak!

I left a voice message with the brace people at the doctors office. I figure it is probably a good time for a fit check anyway. They can check the fit and figure out the squeak, probably just needs a bit of oil.

I am interested in seeing how my knee feels tomorrow after doing a new exercise...
